11 new colleagues at Geysen thanks to vacancy marketing

Have you been struggling with vacancies that remain unfilled? The shortage in the job market is forcing HR departments to go beyond the classic approach of using temp agencies or job platforms like VDAB. Companies are increasingly turning to the successful approach of recruitment marketing to attract the right applicants. Curious how it works? Read about how our job marketers ensured a steady flow of technicians for Geysen.

Open Vacancies Are a Brake on Growing Businesses

As a digital marketing agency, we notice that companies looking to grow often don’t face a shortage of leads but rather a shortage of skilled staff. Family-owned Geysen from Westerlo approached us to launch online job ads. They are always searching for hard-to-find technical profiles across Belgium.

To consistently find the right match between Geysen’s technicians and their clients, they are continuously looking for new technical profiles. Since January 2024, we’ve successfully managed their Dutch and French recruitment campaigns. Previously, Geysen relied primarily on traditional methods: temp agencies, organically incoming applicants, and sending messages to suitable profiles on LinkedIn. Geysen’s recruiters were fishing in the same technician pool repeatedly, limiting the inflow of candidates.

From Ad to Application

Kingsberry set up powerful ad campaigns on Facebook and Google for Geysen. Through a combination of targeted ads, persuasive visuals, and copy, Geysen now enjoys a monthly influx of candidates. After eight months, eleven new technicians have already joined the team. The digital efforts have also created word-of-mouth effects beyond the ads themselves; a technician reached out to a Geysen employee after seeing our ad on his Facebook feed.

To reach both audiences, we use an omnichannel approach. With Google Ads, we reach people with active interest, while social media ads target passive job seekers. We also optimize job descriptions and ad texts to ensure the best results. With a targeted strategy, recruitment marketing is far more cost-effective and efficient than collaborations with recruitment firms or posting vacancies on general job sites like Indeed or Jobat.
