Why a consultant strengthens your marketing strategy

For Geysen, a company based in Westerlo that places technicians with businesses, Kingsberry has already created a new website, provided tailored marketing training, launched ad campaigns, and written monthly blogs. Recently, Geysen also welcomed Kingsberry consultant Nyah to their office. How do both parties experience this collaboration?

Gradually Increased from Two to Four Days

Nyah: “To bring more structure to Geysen’s daily (marketing) tasks, I started working as a consultant for them two days a week at the end of May. After a few weeks, it became clear that two days were not enough to handle all the tasks. Since August, I’ve been working four days a week at the company.”

Consultants come in all forms, as do those at Kingsberry. Geysen chose consultant Nyah because of her expertise in marketing strategy. Nyah explains, “For some projects, like video campaigns or blogs, other expertise is needed. Then my colleagues at Kingsberry step in to provide support. It’s great to know there’s a whole marketing team backing the consultant, ready to assist.”

Marketing Finally a Priority

Geysen is very pleased with consultant Nyah. Monique Maes, director of Geysen, says, “We wouldn’t be able to do without her. Nyah takes on many marketing tasks for sales, recruitment, and the Geysen Academy: she automates workflows, creates flyers and brochures, updates the website, and brings a lot of structure to the company. We don’t have enough marketing knowledge ourselves, and it takes us longer to figure things out. Thanks to Nyah, we can focus on other tasks and leave the marketing in her capable hands.”

Variety and Growth in a Close-Knit Team

Nyah: “I find the role of consultant incredibly interesting because it allows me to grow even more as a marketer. I get the chance to dive into clients, their products, and operations. At Geysen, I felt immediately welcomed by the close-knit atmosphere in the office. There’s a lot of variety in the tasks, and I feel like I truly add value here. Every Friday, I work from the Kingsberry office to learn from my colleagues there. The great part is that I now have two teams: Kingsberry and Geysen,” says Nyah with a big smile.
